Fellowship Grant Support: Grant of up to INR 3.6 Lakh as monthly fellowship spread across 12 months ranging from  INR 10,000 to INR 30,000.

Prototyping Support: Support for product development, prototyping and testing with partners and other stakeholders.

Mentoring & Guidance: Guidance from experienced entrepreneurs on the business model, strategy, sector and market insights.

Incubation Space: EIRs get incubation space, access to group knowledge sessions and pitch review at the incubation centre in Ahmedabad.

About the Policy:

​

NIDHI EIR Fellowship Program provides graduating students with an opportunity to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey without worrying about their futures. This policy also provides them with support, mentorship in entrepreneurship, access to office facilities, and guidance along with a great chance to grow their networks and get feedback on their ventures which ultimately helps them grow. To minimise the risk in pursuing start-ups, this scheme also offers them a monthly fellowship amount for the first initial year.

Program Implementation Body:

Venture Centre, NCL, Pune; identified as Programme Implementing Partner (PIP) by NSTEDB (National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board).

Financial Assistance:

​

Funding Support of minimum INR 10,000/- to maximum INR 30,000/- per month for a period of 12 months shall be given to an individual.

Eligibility criteria:

​

• The applicant should be an Indian citizen;

• The applicant should be having a undergraduate/post-graduate degree or diploma, in the field of science or engineering;

• The applicant should be a first-generation innovative-entrepreneur, who has no prior source of income;

• The applicant should have a scalable technology business start-up and is expected to pursue it full time;

• The applicant shall not be the promoter or shareholder holding more than 10% of another company should have a formal business plan for the idea they intend to pursue.
