About the event
Nirman 1.0, organized by PDEU’s School of Management in collaboration with IIC-PDEU on April 12, 2025, was a flagship business plan competition aimed at nurturing student entrepreneurship. With 229 participants across 84 teams from premier institutions nationwide, the event provided a platform to pitch innovative ideas to investors, mentors, and industry leaders. 30 teams were shortlisted for on-campus rounds, with 8 winning teams sharing a ₹1 Lakh prize pool. Focusing on sectors like ESG, EdTech, FinTech, AgriTech, and sustainable technologies, Nirman 1.0 offered workshops, mentoring, and networking opportunities, fostering innovation, startup engagement, and real-world investor interaction.
