MoodBoard Challenge: Design the Vision

The “MoodBoard Challenge” was an interactive, hands-on branding activity organized by the PDEU Innovation and Incubation Centre (PDEU IIC) in collaboration with SLS-PDEU for students of the School of Liberal Studies, PDEU. The event aimed to provide practical exposure to visual branding and communication by enabling students to work directly with startups incubated at PDEU IIC and translate their visions into creative visual mood boards. Over 50 SLS students specializing in marketing and mass communication collaborated with 13 startups, including AirX Innovations, Rhyno Wheels, Avinya, and Stembotix, to develop mood boards reflecting each startup’s brand identity. The activity included an introduction to PDEU IIC, a challenge briefing, moodboard creation, team presentations, an exhibition of student work, prize distribution, and networking.

Overall, the event successfully bridged academic learning with real-world entrepreneurship, fostering creativity, design thinking, and meaningful collaboration while offering startups fresh branding perspectives and students valuable portfolio-building experience.
