IEEE ITSS ROAD SAFETY IDEATHON 2025

The ideathon aimed to address rising road accidents by focusing on innovations in accident detection, traffic monitoring, speed control, and safety for pedestrians and two-wheelers. The event saw participation from various institutions across India, including PDEU, NIT Goa, Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalay, and SIT Nagpur. The program featured expert sessions, idea pitching, and evaluations by a multidisciplinary jury. Key contributors included Dr. Ramesh Battula (MNIT Jaipur), Prof. Siba K. Udgata (Central University of Hyderabad), and Mr. Anay Mashruwala (Venus Engineering Works).

Participants engaged in cross-disciplinary learning, gained insights from industry and academic experts, and developed practical problem-solving skills.

The top-performing teams were recognized for their innovative solutions:

• 1st Position (₹15,000): Team-Idea15 (Bhavan Prasad Jain, Jash Hinsu, Tanay Shah).

• 2nd Position (₹10,000 shared): Team-Idea11 (Darsh Kayur Kadakia, Harsh Shah, Devarsh Patel) and Team-Idea25 (Ami Pandya, Navya Srivastava).

• 3rd Position (₹5,000): Team-Idea07 (Devshree Laxambhai Prajapati, Anishmita Sen).

• Consolation Prize: Team-Idea08 (Falix Jayaprakash, Swaraj Singh, Patel Om Kalpeshkumar from NIT Goa).
