Government Engineering College Visit

Civil Engineering students from Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar (GEC- Gn) visited PDEU IIC to learn about entrepreneurship and innovation. A highlight of their visit was a session with Mr. Aditya Dave, Founder of LAARI. Mr. Dave shared his entrepreneurial journey, offering insights into the creation and development of LAARI, from its initial idea to its current form. He also delivered a pitch, effectively conveying the potential of his startup. Beyond LAARI, Mr. Dave discussed the essential qualities of an entrepreneurial mindset, emphasizing the process of turning an idea into a reality. He provided practical advice and shared personal experiences, giving the GEC-Gn students a valuable and relatable perspective on the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship.

Students explored co-working spaces, labs, and workshops. They engaged with advanced machinery, such as 3D printers, used for prototype development. Students received information regarding mentorship, community building, and various funding schemes available for startup ideas.

The visit successfully bridged the gap between academic studies and the practical startup world, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the resources available to transform ideas into tangible ventures.
