Dr. Naveen Vasishta and Delegates Visit to PDEU IIC

Dr. Naveen Vasishtha, a venerated member of the Board of Governors at VJTI-TBI, and other esteemed delegates visited PDEU IIC’s facility on 13th February 2024. His visit aimed to have a glance at the operations and progress made at PDEU IIC as a recognized TBI, in lieu of support under NIDHI.

Mr. Abhinav Kapadia, Director of PDEU IIC heartily welcomed Dr. Naveen and delegates from the same industry and accorded them a tour of the incubator's facilities, which are built with support from TBI funds sanctioned by DST, GOI. These funds are aimed to equip the incubation centres with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure, which in turn, builds a platform for budding entrepreneurs to avail guidance and services for kickstarting their ventures.

This was followed by an interaction with the incubated startups at PDEU IIC wherein the guests engaged with the incubatees exhibiting keen enthusiasm as they exchanged ideas and visions. The interactive sessions proved to be an invaluable experience, equipping the founders with crucial knowledge and inspiration to make their way into the entrepreneurial world. Lastly, they had interaction with the employees, sharing with them his knowledge and experience about how an incubation team plays a crucial role and should leverage the support offered by the GoI to help startups to grow faster.

The interaction of Dr. Naveen Vashishtha and the delegates with startups incubated at PDEU IIC, helped the latter to gain insight on bequest of his years of experience into the startup ecosystem. Mr. Vashishtha reviewed the centre’s facilities and was satisfied with progress made thus far. He also advised the centre on the future scope of growth, new arrangements for assisting startups and ways in which PDEU IIC can attain the level of self-sustenance post completion of 05 years support under TBI.
