AETRIX-S&T Hackathon

Aetrix 2026 – Where AI Meets Impact is a high-intensity, 36-hour overnight hackathon designed to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and real-world social or industrial challenges. Organized by the Science & Technical Committee in collaboration with PDEU Innovation and Incubation Centre (IIC), the event encourages students to evolve from coders into creators.

The hackathon provides an electrifying and competitive environment where participants work under time pressure to build functional prototypes using AI, machine learning, and advanced software engineering practices. It brings together developers, designers, and strategists to collaboratively transform innovative ideas into tangible solutions. With a strong focus on rapid prototyping, technical execution, and real-world relevance, Aetrix 2026 acts as a launchpad for disruptive innovations within the student ecosystem.

It encourages interdisciplinary collaboration by bringing together individuals with diverse skill sets such as coding, UI/UX design, and business strategy. Through continuous mentorship and hands-on development, participants gain exposure to real-time problem-solving and product development cycles.

Additionally, the hackathon seeks to identify high-potential ideas and projects that can be further developed into startups or incubated under PDEU IIC, thereby strengthening the university’s innovation and entrepreneurial pipeline.
